3. READYING YOURSELF FOR THE JOB OPPORTUNITIES
– Customising your resume – market yourself
– Crafting application letters
4. REACHING OUT TO JOB OPPORTUNITIES
– Understanding Visible vs Hidden Job Market
– Analysing a job advertisement
– Working with job placement agencies / Executive Search consultants
– Internet job search
– Networking / Referrals
5. RESPONDING CONFIDENTLY DURING INTERVIEWS
– Understanding the Purpose of interview – types of questions
– Selling yourself – features vs benefits
– Tips for effective performance at interviews

TRAINING METHODOLOGY
This workshop will be conducted in small groups of participants using “proximity contagion” experiential learning methodology. Participants will be emotionally inspired and intellectually challenged through a series of interactive, engaging and fun activities. A balanced use of:
- Group interaction
- Individual exercises
- Role plays
- Video clips
- Summary lectures at the end of each section.
All participants with be provide with samples of winning resumes and application letters. This session will help participants discover useful knowledge and practical skills that can be applied right away.
