Leading Organizational Change & Transitions

Target Audience
– Division 1 Officers or Senior Executives.
– For change leaders, managers and those with responsibilities in implementing
change in the organization will benefit most from this workshop

Course Objectives
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to :
1.  Identify the differences between change and transition and their implications to the workplace
2.  Determine where people are in the three-phase transition process
3.  Develop ways to help people let go of the old ways of doing things to make a clear ending
4.  Get people through the neutral zone between the old way and the new, as well as utilize that in-between state creatively
5.   Launch a new beginning in which people embrace the new way of doing and being

A practical outcome of this workshop will be a preliminary action plan for facilitating the transitions of an actual organizational change.

Participant materials

Each participant will receive:
(a)   Managing Transitions, 2nd ed, a book by William Bridges

(b)  a guidebook containing the Powerpoint slides, a set of templates in a toolkit, and supplementary materials.

Course Duration
2 days (8 hours), 9:00am – 5:00pm.
